MacUpdateThis is for you Mac users out there. A desktop widget to search the recipe database at Epicurious. When I first got internet at home, must have been 7 or 8 years ago, this site was one of the first I used on a regular basis. I was cooking at a restuarant that was heavily dependant on specials, and coming up with 7-8 a night began to wear on my creative side. Epicurious has a database from Gourmet and Bon Apetit magazines, so the recipes and ideas are a little more than homey dishes, so I could at least get some ideas for some sides, or throw an ingredient I knew was in season in the search, and get some main dishes that I could tweak to my restuarant and my style. I haven't used it in a while, but I'm sure it's only gotten better.
